Multinational in the Energy & Renewables sector is currently looking to hire a Commissioning Engineer for their operations in Lisbon.

Description

• Lead and perform on-site commissioning activities for renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, battery storage, etc.)

• Execute functional tests, troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards

• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Prepare documentation and detailed reports on commissioning results and system performance

• Train client personnel in system operation and maintenance

• Support continuous improvement in commissioning procedures and standards

Profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent)

• 4+ years experience in commissioning, field service, or project engineering in the renewables sector

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, SCADA, PLCs, and power electronics

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Willingness to travel to project sites (nationally/internationally, depending on location)

• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
