Commissioning Electrical Supervisor - Huelva, Spain
SilverBack is looking for an experienced Commissioning Electrical Supervisor to support a major industrial project in Huelva, Spain. The role is key in transitioning the facility from construction through commissioning to full operational readiness.
Key Job Details & Experience Required
- Plan, coordinate, and lead electrical commissioning activities across all project phases
- Supervise energization, start-up, and functional testing of LV/MV systems, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and VFDs
- Oversee commissioning of high-power field equipment including pumps, compressors, crushers, feeders, and furnaces
- Execute no-load and load testing, including thermal and performance validation
- Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Instrumentation, QA/QC, HSE, and Operations teams during integrated start-up
- Review and optimize control parameters, including setpoints, alarms, interlocks, and protections
- Manage commissioning documentation, verification checklists, and punch lists to drive timely system handover
- Ensure all activities comply with Spanish electrical regulations, site safety rules, and permit-to-work systems
Language Requirements
- English and Spanish preferred (spoken and written)
