Description

As a Commercial Intelligence Analyst, you will be integral to analyzing market dynamics, understanding consumer trends, and providing actionable insights that shape product strategies and commercial decisions. Your role will involve analyzing data from various sources to forecast market movements, track competitors, and evaluate the performance of key products and brands. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive business decisions, ensuring a strong competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor key markets, gathering and analyzing data on market size, growth potential, and competitor strategies to identify business opportunities.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data to provide actionable insights on product performance, price positioning, and promotional effectiveness, helping shape the commercial strategy.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts at the brand and SKU level, evaluating potential risks and opportunities within the market.
  • Trade Investment & ROI Analysis: Evaluate the ROI of trade initiatives and advise on the optimal allocation of resources to maximize profitability and business growth.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Regularly communicate insights, market trends, and recommendations to internal teams, including marketing, sales, and leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Business Case Development: Build and present ad-hoc business cases to support new product launches, strategic initiatives, and price changes.

Profile

Proven experience in business analysis or commercial intelligence roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, including advanced Excel skills, with experience in data warehousing or CRM tools.
Ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights that drive business decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English is essential;
A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
