Your mission will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications for critical business processes;
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of legacy and modernized COBOL applications;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts and project managers, to deliver reliable solutions;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing COBOL codebases;
• Contribute to the migration and modernization of legacy systems.

You will need:

• Strong knowledge of COBOL programming language;
• Proven experience (1 to 5 years) in COBOL development in enterprise environments;
• Experience with databases such as DB2, VSAM, or IMS;
• Familiarity with JCL, CICS, and Mainframe environments;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit;
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Would be awesome if you have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related field;
• English proficiency of B2 level.
