As a Cloud FinOps Consultant at Ivy Partners, you will be tasked with:

- Establishing and managing cloud financial management practices including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

- Defining and implementing financial policies and controls specific to cloud operations.

- Monitoring and reporting on cloud usage, costs, and performance metrics.

- Collaborating with product and technical teams to optimize cloud usage without compromising on reliability or performance.

- Designing and implementing a holistic FinOps framework to ensure multi-domain governance that promotes innovation, effective decision-making, efficiency leverage, and usage optimization.

- Spreading best practices in cloud financial management across various departmental stakeholders.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if:

- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

- You possess hands-on experience in cloud operations and/or financial management, with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and cloud provider tools.

- You have expertise in IT asset management or cost accounting, with additional certifications from cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

- You demonstrate a solid grasp of cloud-based application architectures.

- You are skilled in managing cloud-related data and have technical and financial expertise in analyzing and optimizing cloud usage.
