We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Innovation and Engineering teams, supporting the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure following DevOps best practices.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, building scalable and secure cloud solutions, and continuously improving infrastructure through automation and modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures aligned with business requirements, optimizing cost, performance, and reliability. Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure design, deployments, and disaster recovery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Automation & CI/CD: Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance processes. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support multiple environments.
• Application Deployment: Deploy and operate applications in the cloud with high availability and fault tolerance. Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications.
• Security: Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security. Proactively identify security risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize costs through right-sizing, reserved or spot instances. Lead optimization efforts for Elasticsearch infrastructure, including index and query performance.
• Operational Excellence: Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred; others are a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).
• Experience with networking concepts (VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, peerings).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Experience implementing HA and DR solutions.
• Security-first mindset integrated into DevOps and infrastructure design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese or other languages are a plus).

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Scripting or programming experience (Python, Shell, Java, .NET).
• Experience implementing advanced monitoring and logging solutions to improve observability.
