SER is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to enhance our DevOps processes for our fast-growing SaaS. The role will encompass the use of a broad range of AWS/Azure technologies, IaaC tools (terraform, helm) and application environments (Kubernetes), with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles.

This is how you succeed

• You will collaborate on the creation of the IaaC journey using innovative technologies such as terraform and helm
• You will provision and deploy cloud tenants for new customers over public clouds
• You will integrate cloud tenants with customer's premises and users over the web
• You will run incident resolution, facilitating teamwork with other departments as required
• You will check SER Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability, and document issues as appropriate, in order to meet the in place SLAs
• You work with development teams and professional services to troubleshoot more complex issues
• You will contribute to the SOC2 and ISO27k certification process in accordance with industry standard methodologies

This is what you bring to SER

• You have a degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable education
• You have experience in IaaC concepts and technologies such as terraform, helm charts or similar

• You bring at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:

1. Kubernetes
2. Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc)
3. Experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.

• Initial experience in the following areas is desirable:

1. Knowledge of AWS services or Azure Services
2. Exposure to security concepts / best practices
3. Contribution to certification processes such as ISO27001 or SOC2

• You enjoy teamwork and communication in English
