We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join an innovative and international tech environment, supporting the operations and maintenance of cloud-native solutions.

Location: 100% Remote (Portugal-based)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and services
• Collaborate with teams to ensure robust and scalable cloud solutions
• Support containerization workflows and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize cloud platform performance
• Ensure continuous improvement of cloud environments aligned with business goals

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps
• Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Understanding of Compute and Storage concepts in cloud environments
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with NFV/MANO frameworks or the ELK Stack
• English (minimum B2 level). Portuguese or other languages are a plus

Nice-to-Have

• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Expertise in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu): deployment, image build, and system administration
• Experience in network/system-level solution design
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies (Type-1 and Type-2)
• Certifications in Cloud/DevOps technologies
• Experience with StarlingX Cloud
