Position: Cloud & Platform Operations Engineer (Cloud Containers Automation Operations)

We are looking for a Cloud & Platform Operations Engineer to support the IT Systems and Applications Management team. This team is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous evolution of application and platform infrastructures.

The role focuses on support, tuning, and modernisation of systems, enabling their transition towards Cloud, Containers, and AI-enabled environments, while ensuring stability, security, and performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administration of on-prem and cloud-based systems and platforms
  • Operation and maintenance of cloud applications and Kubernetes environments
  • Migration of legacy applications to Kubernetes / OpenShift and/or public Cloud platforms
  • Technical support to Application Support and Development teams
  • Participation in on-call rotation, including prevention and 24/7 incident intervention

Technical Requirements

  • Experience managing, operating, and supporting infrastructures in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience implementing and migrating services across Cloud environments (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS / AI / Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge or experience with Cloudflare service implementation and management
  • Strong troubleshooting and post-mortem analysis skills
  • Strong focus on system and application security
  • Cost-awareness mindset, with attention to cloud resource usage and optimisation
  • Operating system administration including scripting, hardening, and tuning
  • Experience with monitoring and operational support platforms (Nagios, Prometheus, Dynatrace, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of networking, load balancing, and service distribution
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Programming and scripting skills (Shell, Python, Perl, Go, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, etc.)
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices
