Multinational in the Energy sector is currently looking to hire a Civil Project Manager for their operations in Portugal.

Description

• Develop civil engineering designs for renewable energy projects, including site layouts, access roads, foundations, drainage, and utility connections.
• Collaborate with environmental consultants, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders in the early stages of project development.
• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from pre-feasibility to commissioning.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and resources to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Supervise civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Resolve on-site issues and serve as the liaison between contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including external consultants and contractors.
• Keep up to date with emerging renewable technologies and innovations in civil engineering.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 5/10 years of experience in civil engineering with at least 2 years in renewable energy projects.

• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an asset.

• Experience working with renewable energy systems (wind, solar, hydro, battery storage). Experience in Oil&Gas is also valued.
