About Us
The magnificent building that houses our hotel was constructed in 1894, beautifully situated on a small hill with stunning views of the "Jungfrau, Silberhorn & Co.", the Lauterbrunnen Valley with its impressive waterfalls, and the village of Wengen. This Victorian four-star hotel has been listed in the Swiss heritage inventory since 2004.
The splendid house offers stylishly renovated rooms with balconies or terraces, featuring unique views of the Jungfrau and Lauterbrunnen Valley. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom or shower/WC, hairdryer, radio, color TV, and direct-dial telephone. Romantic junior suites with Jacuzzi are also available. At the end of 2008, four master suites with every comfort were completed, ranging from 60 to 80 square meters. In addition to living and sleeping areas, these also include dressing rooms and bathrooms with both bath and shower, all in elegant English style. The terraces are interconnected, offering a panoramic view over the Jungfrau and Lauterbrunnen Valley.
The entire hotel complex has public wireless LAN, and a dedicated internet corner is available for our guests. Furthermore, the hotel features a piano bar, two conference rooms (for 30 - 120 people), a fitness room, sauna, steam bath, a beauty center, and a boutique.
For gourmets, Hotel Regina offers its à la carte restaurant Chez Meyer's, awarded 15 Gault & Millau points, and Jack’s Brasserie with a refined selection of Swiss wines. There’s also Mary’s Café, located slightly outside of Wengen at the Lauberhorn World Cup finish line, with 36 indoor and 120 outdoor seats, serving Swiss cuisine.
We are a small but fine mountain restaurant near the village of Wengen, located on the ski slope but also reachable by foot from Wengen (1 km), in the car-free resort of Wengen in the Bernese Oberland, affiliated with the 4-star Hotel Regina, also in Wengen.
