Our client, a global leader in real estate services, is seeking a Certified Accountant to lead a team of three professionals.

Your New Role 

As a Certified Accountant, reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements;
• Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations;
• Calculating and preparing regulatory reports and various tax returns;
• Participating in budget preparation and periodic reviews;
• Supporting software implementation by ensuring accurate input of accounting and tax data;
• Overseeing the annual audit of financial statements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent;
• Certified Accountant designation;
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and the interplay between balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flows;
• In-depth understanding of key tax issues;
• Experience in consolidating accounts and IFRS (preferred);
• Proven team leadership experience;
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred);
• Strong analytical, organizational, and dynamic skills;
• Proactivity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial information;
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (preferred);
• Interest in the real estate and consultancy sectors.
