Within Portugal Operations, the cash and securities Reconciliation team is responsible for the reconciliation of the cash movements and the securities positions.
The team is in charge of the analysis of the breaks and their follow up until their resolution.
The cash and securities Reconciliation team supports our client's banks and ensures an efficient and a high quality services.
A successful 'Cash and Securities Reconciliation' should :
- Perform daily and monthly cash and securities reconciliation processes.
- Investigate discrepancies in financial records promptly.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain and update reconciliation.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required by the department.
- Support audits and compliance checks related to cash and securities reconciliation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to standards and internal policies.
Profile
A successful 'Cash and Securities Reconciliation' should have:
- Proven experience in cash or securities reconciliation or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with banking and financial services processes.
- Proficiency in reconciliation systems and financial software tools.
