Le Ty Polny is opening in March, and it is a new neighbourhood café bringing together the warmth of a Breton crêperie, the charm of a local bakery, and the energy of a modern coffee bar. Designed as a welcoming space for families, friends, and food lovers, we aim to create a vibrant hub at the heart of the village — a place where quality, creativity, and community come together.

????? Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of Le Ty Polny and ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to be part of building something truly special from the ground up.

?? Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day café operations, including bakery, crêperie, beverage service, and customer experience.
• Recruit, train, and lead a small but high-performing team.
• Manage schedules, inventory, supplier relationships, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and local hospitality regulations.
• Develop and implement service procedures to maintain exceptional quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate on menu development, promotions, and community events.
• Monitor KPIs, report on sales and performance, and contribute to strategic decisions.

Perfil do Candidato

?? Requirements

• Valid “Patente de cafetier-restaurateur” (canton Vaud) or equivalent Swiss certification.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in managing a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality business.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities (French required; English a plus).
• Solid understanding of F&B operations, cost management, and supplier coordination.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on attitude, and passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
