Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand our presence across European markets, focusing on Microbiome, Food Safety, and Life Sciences segments.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new business partners and distributors, driving revenue growth and market penetration through strong, sustainable collaborations.
  • Act as a business hunter, continuously exploring new opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships that strengthen our market footprint.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and areas of unmet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing teams to tailor commercial approaches, campaigns, and training to local market dynamics.
  • Build a healthy commercial pipeline and maintain up-to-date data in the CRM system, ensuring visibility and accountability across all business activities.
  • Support and align with global sales priorities and report regularly to the Head of Global Sales, providing insights, forecasts, and recommendations.

Profile & Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Around 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or channel management, ideally within molecular diagnostics, life sciences, or food safety industries - however, strong candidates with relevant commercial mindset and technical affinity will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and develop new partners and customers in technical or scientific markets.
  • Solid understanding of the microbiome, food testing, and life science research ecosystems is a strong plus.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and resilient mindset, with strong hunter instincts and commercial creativity.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in multicultural environments.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages (such as French, German, Italian) are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
