Join Ageas Portugal as a Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping our technological and business landscape. We are looking for a professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring that our solutions meet functional and strategic requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Business Moment Coordination
- Coordinate the identification, definition, and design of Business Moments (key elements of business logic) necessary for Ageas technological solutions.
- Ensure that all development projects align with Ageas Business Moments architecture principles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing solutions and support to unblock challenges.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, providing clarity and support throughout the design process.
- Manage and report issues related to the proposed business solutions.
Strategic Impact & Problem Solving
- Evaluate the potential impact of design decisions on business functionality.
- Support budgeting activities by providing necessary inputs from a technical and business perspective.
- Understand Ageas architecture, capabilities, and functionalities to design business and component orchestration solutions.
- Guide development teams in implementing the designed solutions, ensuring they follow agreed-upon principles.
High-Level Design & Technical Orchestration
- Analyze business processes and translate them into technical orchestration solutions, ensuring they meet the expectations of business stakeholders.
- Identify root causes of issues and develop effective, long-term solutions.
- Choose the most appropriate design options and ensure successful implementation.
- Align proposed solutions with business objectives and requirements.
- Test and optimize business flows for continuous improvement.
- Plan and manage development activities, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Requirements
- Experience in integration projects, with a primary focus on design, definition, and testing phases.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies within Ageas ecosystem.
- Business knowledge of the primary business areas of the Ageas Group.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Experience in software development with technologies used at Ageas (e.g., .NET, Outsystems, APIM).
