Description

• Conduct scientific studies related to the reproduction of teleost fish;
• Manage and maintain larval and juvenile development systems;
• Participate in other areas of the Oceanário de Lisboa's Reproduction Department, such as auxiliary cultures and coral reproduction;
• Analyze and interpret scientific data, producing reports and publications;
• Supervise students and support the training of young researchers;
• Ensure the continuity of teleost and invertebrate reproduction at the Oceanário de Lisboa;
• Contribute to the production of relevant scientific knowledge.

Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree in Marine Biology, Marine Sciences, or related fields;
• Proven experience in teleost reproduction;
• Strong knowledge of teleost and/or invertebrate reproduction;
• Track record of scientific publications;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
• Scientific curiosity;
• High sense of responsibility and scientific rigor;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
