Note that this vacancy is Remote, but our candidates must be based in Portugal.

Requirements:

Your job is to maintain and support the time management system (AZM) for the Austrian and Swiss employees. AZM is a home grown (custom) application based on the BMC Remedy Action Request System platform.

Your Tasks

• Maintaining the BMC Remedy AR System platform: AR Server, Mid-Tier Server (Apache Tomcat) and Email Engine
• Maintenance of custom application AZM
• Onboarding new users to the system
• Offboarding users
• Troubleshooting end user and system problems
• Work together with HR administration to analyze SAP interface problems
• Periodic system and data maintenance.

Needed Skills

• Extensive knowledge in maintaining and administering BMC Remedy AR System server platform version 20.02
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with BMC Remedy development, including design, customization, and integration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues on all platform levels, like: MS SQL DB - AR Server - Mid Tier - Application
• Good understanding of the SQL language (MS SQL Server)
• Good understanding of Apache Tomcat Server environment and maintenance skills
• Basic Windows Server OS knowledge
• Good Windows batch scripting skills
• English speaking and writing fluency
• BMC Certified Professional (BCP) or BMC Certified Expert (BCE) are preferred.
