Your new Role As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for: - BI development and Data Warehouse development with a special focus on former;
- Data Modeling (e.g., Data Vault, dimensional), Data Engineering, and creating the respective dashboards and reports;
- Take initiative and make independent decisions (but also to ask for help when stuck » work to benefit a team as a whole);
- Collaborate directly with business and support function stakeholders.
What you will need to be succeedTelenor, and DNA, are looking for someone with a positive and “get things done” attitude with a good team spirit and a strong motivation towards technical challenges.
To be succeed as a BI Developer you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; 3-5 years of experience in BI / Publish Layer Data Warehouse development; Background in Data domains, or relevant industries (would be a bonus); Experience in Data Warehousing (ETL/ELT/DataOps, preferably in Cloud, e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake); Strong experience working with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Qlik, or equivalent; Programming skills: SQL (mandatory); Python (preferred); DevOps experience (Telenor and DNA operate what they develop); Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe and / or relevant tools, such as Confluence, Jira, Git, Slack, etc.); Experience from work in multi-location and multi-vendor teams; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Fluency in English.
