Your new mission 

Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems using the Microsoft development stack (C#, .NET, and MS SQL).
• Write secure, well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
• Ensure code is peer-reviewed, unit tested, integration tested, and delivered through automated pipelines all the way to live environments.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to define and implement APIs and data structures.
• Optimise application performance and scalability.

DevOps:

• Work closely with the DevOps team to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

General:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and your team to deliver value.
• Support engineers with your expertise and opinions within your team to drive forward delivery.
• Work with engineers across teams to develop and evolve our architecture.
• Maintain legacy applications when needed.

What you need to be succeed 

• Strong proficiency in backend development with a proven track record of building scalable and reliable systems
• Experience building and evolving API services, middle-tier and backend applications built in the .NET framework / .Net using appropriate design patterns
• Strong commercial Microsoft .NET/C# with SQL Server development experience
• In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Cloud based(Azure) development and integration experience
• Have a very solid foundation of good development practices
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools
• Working in an Agile, Automated Build (CI) and Deployment environments, supported by appropriate tooling
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Plus:

• Experience in Finance, Insurance and/or Reinsurance
• Cloud Data platforms / Snowflake / Azure data lakes
• WPF (on prem)
• Experience in Front end development , React JS preferred.
• Experience with parallel programming, building highly performance APIs
