Build secure, scalable, and cloud-native Azure solutions for a leading European financial institution working within a global technology consultancy on a long-term, high-impact project in the banking sector.

We are hiring an Azure Platform Engineer to join an international engineering team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining modern Azure cloud solutions that support critical banking applications and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Container Instances (ACI)
- Develop and maintain production-grade backend services using Python
- Design and optimize data solutions with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory, including performance tuning and complex SQL development
- Implement secure cloud architectures using Azure Active Directory, Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery
- Monitor system performance, availability, and production environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous platform improvements
- Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions
- Strong expertise in Azure networking, security, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL
- Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure Container Instances
- Strong Python development skills for backend services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Strong understanding of Azure security best practices, including Azure AD, Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver production-ready solutions independently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments
