Adecco Recruitment is currently hiring an Audit Manager to join a leading Big 4 firm operating in Mozambique. We are looking for a senior audit professional with strong international exposure, proven leadership skills, and a solid background within top-tier professional services firms.

 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit teams across multiple client engagements and industries;
• Plan, execute, and supervise financial audits, ensuring compliance with deadlines and international standards;
• Review financial statements and audit reports, ensuring technical quality and regulatory compliance;
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships;
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members;
• Participate in special projects and advisory engagements when applicable.

 

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields;
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in external audit, strictly within Big 4 or top-tier firms;
• Previous professional experience in the African continent (plus);
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (spoken and written);
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills;
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and international auditing standards.
