Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Transport Infrastructures Business Unit by recruiting an Associate Civil Engineer for the Special Structures department, based at our Alfragide office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Development of structural projects, specifically bridges, viaducts and other special structures;
• Perform advanced structural calculations, including static, dynamic, and seismic analyses, using specialized software (e.g.: SAP2000);
• Define solutions for foundations and support structures, including geotechnical analyses and soil-structure interaction;
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as industry-specific requirements;
• Preparation of technical reports, design briefs, and project specifications;
• Stay up to date with technological advancements and implement improvements in structural design methodologies and project development processes;
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the development of structural design projects;
• Professional experience with SAP2000/Robot, AutoCAD, Revit or Allplan (valued);
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
