Overall Job Purpose


The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and strategic goals of the Food & Beverage department. This role assists in managing daily service operations across all F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, lounges, banquet services, room service, and any other related services. The position is responsible for ensuring superior guest experiences through high-quality service, efficient team leadership, and strict adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.



Responsibilities

·        Assist in managing day-to-day operations of restaurants, bars, room service, and event catering (if applicable).

·        Supervise and support F&B staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

·        Ensure the highest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction are met at all times.

·        Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and managing costs.

·        Monitor F&B operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

·        Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

·        Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

·        Fluent in both Italian and English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations. (HACCP)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
