What will be the role?
Crowne Plaza Porto is looking for an Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing to support the Commercial Director in the execution of the hotel's sales and marketing strategy.
This role combines a strong focus on Groups & Events with day-to-day support to the sales team, ensuring alignment, performance, and successful delivery of commercial objectives.
The ideal candidate will act as a key link between strategy and execution, supporting both leadership and team development while actively contributing to revenue generation.
What will be the Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in implementing the commercial strategy
- Oversee and support the coordination and execution of Groups & Events business
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the Sales team
- Contribute to revenue optimization and market share growth
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure successful event delivery
What we need from you?
• Proven experience in hotel sales
- Strong Groups & Events / MICE background
- Commercially driven with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Organized, collaborative and hands-on approach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
