We are hiring a Senior Application Production Support profile to join our team in Lisbon, fully onsite, supporting a critical international banking environment. This is a great mission, and it includes shift work (24/7 model) and on-call support.
Mandatory requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support
• Experience in incident management, service requests, and infrastructure maintenance
• Comfortable working in 24/7 production support (shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on-call rotation)
• Strong knowledge of batch processing and production incident handling
• Ability to analyze system logs and identify infrastructure or application issues
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
• Experience with UNIX shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python for automation
• Basic knowledge of Autosys (create/modify jobs)
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles
• Fluency in English
Desirable skills:
• Experience in writing or updating support documentation and knowledge articles
• Exposure to service monitoring, alerting, and reporting practices
• Drive for continuous service improvement and performance optimization
• Previous work in banking or financial environments
