Full-time
We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in BDD, Java, and a solid understanding of the banking/financial domain.
You will join an international team, collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts, and help ensure the quality of a critical financial platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks.
- Automate existing tests and write new ones according to company standards.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD workflows related to testing.
- Prepare, execute, and report test campaigns.
- Verify, track, and analyze bugs until resolution (Jira).
- Track and report the status of automation test suites.
- Work closely with QA, development, and business teams to understand the business domain.
- Use approved automation frameworks in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Skills - Technical
- 2+ years of experience as a SDET / QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong mastery of Gherkin & BDD.
- Proficient in Java for automated testing.
- Experience in web application testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Knowledge of Git, Jira, and test management tools.
- Competence in SQL / NoSQL databases.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Portuguese fluency is a plus.
Bonus Skills
- Advanced CI/CD or Kubernetes experience.
- ISTQB certification.
- Knowledge of SWIFT standards (ISO15022 / 20022).
- Risk management concepts: SPAN / VaR.
Financial Knowledge (Highly Valued)
- Understanding of financial instruments: stocks, bonds, derivatives, ETFs.
- Knowledge of settlement & clearing (pre-trade, on-exchange, OTC).
- Familiarity with market participants: CCP, CSD, brokers, custodians.
- Understanding of settlement cycles: match, affirm, settle, deliver.
Organization
- 2 days per week on-site.
- International environment, high-quality standards, banking/financial domain.
