Full-time

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in BDD, Java, and a solid understanding of the banking/financial domain.

You will join an international team, collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts, and help ensure the quality of a critical financial platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks.
• Automate existing tests and write new ones according to company standards.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD workflows related to testing.
• Prepare, execute, and report test campaigns.
• Verify, track, and analyze bugs until resolution (Jira).
• Track and report the status of automation test suites.
• Work closely with QA, development, and business teams to understand the business domain.
• Use approved automation frameworks in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Required Skills - Technical

• 2+ years of experience as a SDET / QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong mastery of Gherkin & BDD.
• Proficient in Java for automated testing.
• Experience in web application testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Git, Jira, and test management tools.
• Competence in SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Portuguese fluency is a plus.

Bonus Skills

• Advanced CI/CD or Kubernetes experience.
• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of SWIFT standards (ISO15022 / 20022).
• Risk management concepts: SPAN / VaR.

Financial Knowledge (Highly Valued)

• Understanding of financial instruments: stocks, bonds, derivatives, ETFs.
• Knowledge of settlement & clearing (pre-trade, on-exchange, OTC).
• Familiarity with market participants: CCP, CSD, brokers, custodians.
• Understanding of settlement cycles: match, affirm, settle, deliver.

Organization

• 2 days per week on-site.
• International environment, high-quality standards, banking/financial domain.
