Your new company:
Our client is a Shared Services Center located in Lisbon.
Your new role:
Reporting directly to the Shared Services Center Manager, you will lead the Accounts Payable team (3 – 8), ensuring the performance of accounting tasks to the subsidiaries working with SSC Portugal. You will be responsible for performing the payments of the Company.
- Supervision of the daily accounts payables tasks, ensuring the strict application of the group policies;
- Drive transfer of activities from international legal entities into the service Organization;
- Train new employees and review processes with existing team members;
- Update process documentations as required;
- Monitor activity KPIs, identify improvements and implement action plans;
- Identify and implement improvement processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and productivity;
- Management of the AP intercompany accounts;
- Validate payment campaigns prepared by the team;
- Inform suppliers about accounts position and contact the countries to solve queries;
- Supervision of the suppliers’ accounts reconciliations;
- Month closing of accounts payable and Reporting;
- Drive the resolution of more complex queries raised by the team and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Work closely with the transversal departments: Corporate, Subsidiaries and internal departments;
- Perform the payments of the Company.
What you'll need to succeed:
Graduated from finance business administration / accounting degree or similar;
At least 5 years’ experience in a multicultural environment;
Experience within a shared service environment would be a plus;
Experience in people management; Strong knowledge in finance, accounting, treasury and tax;
IT Skills: SAP (mandatory) and Kyriba (appreciated);
Fluent in English and French is a plus.
