An experienced Accounting Team Lead is needed to oversee a team of finance professionals in our FMCG division. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to streamline our company's financial processes.

Description

A successful Accounting Team Lead should have:

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures
• Manage month-end and year-end close process
• Review and improve accounting systems and procedures
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Support month-end and year-end close process

Profile

A successful Accounting Team Lead should have:

• Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor or senior accountant
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
