We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with fluency in German and at least 4 years of experience to join our dynamic finance team.

Description

• Manage accounting records for one or more legal entities across different countries, ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards and local regulations in each region.
• Ensure monthly and annual closings are completed and financial statements/reports are produced on time, meeting internal deadlines, while ensuring full legal compliance.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying and justifying any variances.
• Promote continuous improvement and automation of financial processes.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns.
• Advise management on accounting and tax implications, propose appropriate solutions, and implement them.
• Support the financial audit process, suggesting measures to mitigate risks.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems (SAP)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
