Your new CompanyDecathlon is setting up a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon. Have the opportunity to join a growing financial services centralization company in the Retail Sector.
Your new RoleAs an Accounting Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Participate in the setup of a Finance Center of Excellence in Portugal to mutualize the overall efficiency of financial processes;
- Centralize the communication between the country for which you are responsible and the group;
- Ensure the reliability of the accounting – respecting local and group deadlines and standards;
- Ensure monthly and quarterly reviews of internal accounts, alert to potential risks and define the resulting action plans;
- Manage of external and internal audits;
- Ensure partner satisfaction – analyze on satisfaction questionnaires and lead action plans related to the area of activity.
What you will need to be succeedTo be succeed as an Accounting Partner you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management (or related field);
- + 3 years of experience in the area;
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Finance Tools;
- Knowledge of IFRS;
- Experience in implementing and/or migrating accounting systems (particularly SAP);
- Curiosity for process improvements;
- Critical thinking and mindset;
- Ambitious, proactive, dynamic and motivated individual to work in a collaborative environment;
- Love for physical activity and sports;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Fluency in English and Portuguese.
