Your new company:
 
 Multinational retail company based in Lisbon. This position is open in the Finance Hub of this company that you´ll like to be part of. 

 
Your new role:

Reporting to the Regional Hub Lead, you´ll be assisting the Hub lead in any accounting issues arising in the scope of work; helping oversee the Hub Team performance both accounting wise and performance wise as well as execute any of the daily activities of the Regional Sales Hub ranging from; daily booking of sales; daily sales reconciliation; payment media/cash incidence management and any other tasks defined under the scope of work the Regional Sales Hubs. 

Assist the Hub lead supervising the daily activity of the Regional Hub Team from both a performance and the accounting accuracy point of view (team of 12 people); 

Helps the Hub Lead autonomously in the deployment of any initiative mandated by the group ensuring that both quality and timing targets are met; 

Posts sales daily in the relevant system addressing any potential issue; 

Executes daily bank / General Ledger reconciliation or any other reconciliation activity needed; 

Escalates incidents to relevant stakeholders being able to adapt content to an audience and summarize precisely; 

Follows up account balances and claims to the relevant party anticipating proactively any issue; 

Executes and guides the rest of the Team leads in the execution of the corporate and local sales process controls; 

Produces and helps oversee the reporting from the Hub to the Administration Departments of the Subsidiaries served by the Regional Sales Hub; 

Helps validate consequences of changes to be implemented at a local level as defined by the Corporate Sales Team; 

Anticipates issues and duly escalates them to the Regional Sales Hub Lead.

 
What you'll need to succeed:
 
 Degree in Accounting / Business Administration;

4 to 6 years’ experience in accounting (senior tasks);

Leadership skills and previous experience; 

Big4 background (mandatory); 

Good knowledge on Excel and SAP. Power BI knowledge is a plus or any other reporting tool skills; 

Travel availability; 

English Fluent (mandatory).
