Accounting Control

We are looking for an Accounting Control & Investigation Officer to join our team within Listed Derivatives Transactions Processing.

This role combines accounting control, investigation, and process improvement, with a strong focus on automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making (Power BI).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting reconciliations between transaction systems and accounting systems
• Investigate and justify breaks between System Operations (SO) and accounting data
• Identify and resolve accounting and operational anomalies
• Support investigations and reporting related to operational demands (ITO)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and operational teams to resolve issues
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders and management

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Analyze existing processes ("As Is") and identify efficiency improvements
• Drive the implementation of AI tools and Power BI solutions in daily operations
• Support management in developing automation and reporting capabilities
• Contribute to building more efficient, secure, and scalable processes

Main Tasks

• Continuously improve daily operational processes
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards and AI-driven solutions
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve unidentified entries
• Escalate complex issues to the Team Leader when necessary
• Ensure adherence to the control framework and risk mitigation practices
• Leverage advanced Excel and Macros to enhance reconciliation processes

Technical Skills

• Power BI (development and reporting)
• AI tools (applied to operations/process optimization)
• Advanced Excel (including Macros)
• Knowledge of Financial Markets
• Strong understanding of Accounting principles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
• Fluent English (mandatory)
