• We are looking for an experienced Accounting Controller.

Description

• Join a leading international organization seeking an experienced Accounting Controller to support group financial reporting and consolidation activities;
• Contribute to periodic financial closing and consolidation processes in accordance with international reporting standards;
• Review and validate financial reporting packages submitted by multiple business entities;
• Perform analytical reviews of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation;
• Support the assessment and monitoring of financial asset reporting and valuation data;
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality and reporting issues;
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to improve reporting processes, controls, and operational efficiency;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting automation and process optimization;
• Prepare analysis, reports, and recommendations for senior finance leadership;
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, reporting requirements, and accounting standards.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, consolidation, or controlling;
• Strong understanding of IFRS and international financial reporting principles;
• Experience working within a multinational or shared services environment is advantageous;
• Exposure to financial services, insurance, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus;
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail;
• Advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in automation, process improvement, and data analysis;
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent English and French are required.
