Your mission will be to plan and organise the Accounting Department, implementing all necessary measures to ensure the correct execution of financial and accounting processes and procedures, coordinating the accounting and treasury team.

Description

• Prepare, validate, and submit declarative obligations in the Accounting area, as outlined in the Group's reporting calendar
• Supervise and coordinate the administrative team's work in accounting
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with established accounting principles and standards, ensuring their technical regularity to reflect the true and fair view of the company's financial position
• Validate, prepare, and integrate monthly financial statements into the Group's system according to the principles and accounting standards established by the Group, ensuring their technical regularity
• Review bank, accounting and cash reconciliation
• Plan and control treasury activities
• Prepare tax declaration obligations (IRS/IRC/IVA/IS/IMI/IES)
• Prepare, validate, and submit other declarative obligations to official entities (e.g., Bank of Portugal, INE, and other external entities)
• Coordinate and prepare all supporting information for the external audit of financial statements and tax inspection

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Management/Economics
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in accounting, 5 of which in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and taxation
• Certified Accountant
• Team management experience
• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and Power BI
• Advanced level of English
