Your New Company

Decathlon is setting up a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon. Have the opportunity to join a growing financial services centralization company in the Retail Sector.

Your New Role

As an Accounting & System Support, you will be responsible for:

• Participate in the setup of a Finance Center of Excellence in Portugal to mutualize the financial processes;
• Ensure that sales are reconciled in the accounts and in the ERP, with focused on banking and accounts reconciliation; 
• Perform the activities of the process according to the established standards and delays and assure the reliability of the information;
• Provide support and communicate with the Country Relays and partners about the process, ensuring the fulfillment of the Service Level Agreement;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process in terms of efficiency and automation;
• Contribute to the improvement of the competence level of the teams, through defining standard procedures, training and functional coaching.

What you will need to be succeed

To be succeed as an Accounting & System Support you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management (or related field);
• + 3 years of experience in the area;
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Finance Tools;
• Experience in implementing and/or migrating accounting systems (particularly SAP);
• Curiosity for process improvements;
• Critical thinking and mindset;
• Ambitious, proactive, dynamic and motivated individual to work in a collaborative environment;
• Love for physical activity and sports;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Fluency in English and Portuguese.
