We are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join an international company in Lisboa on a temporary assignment. This role will focus on end-to-end accounting, reporting, and compliance across European markets, with close interaction with internal stakeholders and external providers.

Description

• Manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities for assigned entities/markets
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and group accounting policies
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure accurate tax and statutory reporting in coordination with external partners
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and shared service teams
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and controls
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Ability to work in an international and matrix environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Italian language skills or exposure to the Italian market is a plus
