Organise, classify and record accounting documents, ensuring the accurate processing and registration of information;
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the review and regularization of accounts;
Assist with the monthly closing procedures, ensuring compliance with established procedures and deadlines;
Prepare mandatory reports and declarations, namely COPE, GEDIPE, among others;
Manage and monitor customer and supplier accounts;
Review accounts, identify any discrepancies and ensure their resolution;
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and collections;
Ensure the proper filing and organisation of accounting and administrative documentation;
Provide administrative support to the department as required;
Provide all necessary support to the Certified Accountant, collaborating on the department’s various activities.
Academic or professional qualification in Accounting, Management or a related field;
Professional experience in accounting functions, preferably within a hospitality environment;
Experience in organizing, classifying and recording accounting documents;
Knowledge of bank reconciliations, customer and supplier accounts, and monthly closing procedures;
Experience using Primavera / Cegid (preferred);
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
Organized, accurate, responsible and detail-oriented profile;
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet deadlines;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
