KLx is the Portuguese subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A., a large international banking group that provides IT Skills & Software Development services to the IT organizations within the group's business lines.

About Responsibilities

The main mission will be:

The Accountant will join our Finance team and will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, etc.);
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries;
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes;
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparency;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles;
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP);
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) and Excel;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and French is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a multinational or shared services environment;
• Knowledge of tax compliance in Portugal/France/other relevant countries;
• Familiarity with automation tools or Power BI;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
