Our client is looking for an Accountant for a mid-level position in order to support the local Shared Service Centre Accounting team while being directly in contact with the German local teams.

Description

• Posting of incoming invoices and travel expenses
• Posting of bank accounts and monthly cash forecasts
• Fixed assets bookings (in / outs/ amortization)
• Preparation of payment files in SAP
• Month-end closing activities and preparation of advance VAT returns
• Handle AP and Subledger reconciliations
• Prepare financial and fiscal reports, perform variance analysis and support audits
• Ensure compliance with standards, improve processes, and document SOPs

Profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least one year experience in Accounting
• Fluent in German, Advanced level of English
• Good knowledge in Excel; SAP will be a plus
• Rigorous and dynamic, have a good analytical thinking and can work autonomously
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
