Join a Leading Digital Insurance Platform Expanding to Portugal!

Our client, a leading digital platform specialising in the electronic placement of insurance and reinsurance risks, is expanding its operations to Portugal and is looking for .NET Developers to join this exciting new phase.

Location Lisbon Hybrid (flexible)

Permanent contract with the client

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve core backend services using C# / .NET
• Design and maintain REST APIs and platform integrations
• Work with Azure SQL, MongoDB, and other Azure-native services
• Implement and operate cloud solutions following Azure best practices
• Create and maintain automated tests following a TDD approach
• Ensure performance, security and scalability across services
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement
• Participate in code reviews and support the development of lesssenior engineers

Mandatory Requirements

• 5 years of experience in .NET development
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments
• Strong experience with APIs, integrations and microservices
• Background in automated testing
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on quality and production stability
• Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures (Service Bus, Event Hubs)
• Troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills
• Azure certifications
