The company's aim is to provide close and personalised assistance to customers in the road transport sector, with the provision of various services of its own and of the entire Group. 

You new role

As a team leader you will lead, motivate and coach a telesales team.

You will create a performance/ goal orientated culture, ensuring that individual and team performance targets are achieved for calling activity, cross selling and up selling, prioritising tasks, assess and mitigate risk to deliver performance against KPIs. If the KPI's are not being met, it will be your job Implement remedial strategies and provide team members with the hard skills, soft skills and product knowledge they need to succeed.

You will also organise and deliver in house induction training and continuation training, support the Head of Telesales with recruiting new team members and delivering business objectives.

 Your daily tasks will be:

- Manage team member absence, sickness and holiday;

- Ensure that the monthly attendance sheet is accurate and up to date;

- Ensure that the bonus scheme earnings are calculated accurately and passed to the Head of Telesales in a timely fashion;

- Use accurate and timely forecasting, reporting and appraisal reviews to evaluate agent activity and performance to ensure the team achieves and exceeds sales targets;

- Allocate and manage day-to-day tasks and activities of team members;

- Routinely update the Head of Telesales on team and sales performance;

- Build effective relationships with other teams and departments by sharing information in a clear and timely manner;

- Cooperate with other departments, team leaders and managers to help them maximise their sales.

What you'll need to succeed

Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

You need to have excellent organisational and time-management abilities with a strong capacity to identify and correct errors in yourself and in your team members.

Be able to work under pressure and to a high standard with a strong logical thinking ability, good sense of cooperation, communication and adaptability to changes.

Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems is a plus for you.
