Descrição da Empresa

Established in 1894, Oporto British School is proud of the fact that it is the longest-established British School in mainland Europe. The Primary Section at Oporto British School is a place where children can thrive and grow. We aim to help children understand the value of both education and leisure and encourage them to become confident, happy individuals. We encourage all pupils to ‘Strive for success’ as an integral part of our nurturing school community. Throughout Primary we teach the Cambridge International Academic Programme. This is a superb resource to allow pupils, in an international environment, to fully access a very dynamic curriculum. Pupils are externally tested at the end of their Form 5 year. The school, while being conscious of its British foundation and traditions, is very much an international school of the 21st century. The school has undergone a very successful ISI inspection and is COBIS and CIS accredited. Oporto British School is open and friendly. Excellent relationships are evident throughout its close knit, supportive community, which is often described as being ‘like one big family’. Our enrolment at Primary is just over 250 students.
