Your New Company:

Your new Role:

  • Collection, preparation & analysis of financial data, legal documents and other relevant info required for local tax filings/ tax audits and any other statutory requirements

  • Preparing tax returns, schedules and workpapers

  • Provide/prepare documents supporting the transactional data

  • Prepare tax reconciliations, including monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations before the return is filed.

  • Prepare tax payments

  • Gather financial information to calculate intra group pricing and prepare Transfer Pricing schedules

  • Completion of tax tools as part of preparation and review of provision and compliance

  • Upload the final tax return and support to tax compliance tracking system

  • Assist with all tax operational matters and identify any compliance issues. Escalating matters to Tax Managers for advice and resolution

  • Provide audit support and responses as required.

  • Perform other reasonable duties within the Record-to-Report pillar as required

  • Responsibilities during Transition period:

    • Perform knowledge transfer through “train, observe, support & perform” phases, representing Porto SSC with local Entity team

    • Travel to local Entity office

    • Develop and maintain desktop procedures and process flows

    • Support integration of newly transitioned processes into SSC; during training, hyper care and beyond

    • Train new SSC team members in processes

    • Contribute to continuous process improvements

    • Escalate issues and feedback from local Entities

What you'll need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of experience of working in Tax, within complex, large volume environment

  • Have good communication skills

  • A committed team player

  • Be trustworthy and self-motivated

  • Strong organisation and time management

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Fully proficient with Microsoft applications

  • Knowledge of ERP systems
