Your new role

The role requires a flexible and adaptable approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude. You must be accurate, efficient and enjoy working within a varied and busy role. It is necessary to have a good understanding of the business, the way in which it functions and the different industries that people work on. You should be confident and capable of communicating with people in all areas of the business. Working as part of the People and Culture team across EMEA you will be responsible for supporting and growing our business in Portugal. You will need a hands-on approach and a good understanding of the recruitment process. You will work closely with the business, supporting area leaders to forecast and identify hiring needs. You will manage all aspects of candidate attraction, selection and recruiting processes, ensuring the whole process life cycle, from the first interview to on-boarding of new employees. You will design and implement employee training programs (e.g. individual, team, skill-based and management training), measuring overall training effectiveness. You will also provide the business with data to help guide strategic recruitment and retention decisions, such as employee engagement metrics, regular reports and dashboards on HR and Training activity. 

What you'll need to succeed

It will be essential to demonstrate a proven track record in developing and implementing contemporary recruitment strategies that attract and engage top talent in a competitive market. You will be driven by the opportunity to meet, assess and engage with candidates, whilst working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements. You will enjoy developing interview techniques that assess commercial capabilities and motivational drivers and have the ability to negotiate and influence in order to attract top talent.

You will ideally have a degree, more than 3 years of HR or consultancy experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in a lead or management role within Talent Acquisition. You must be a strong communicator, goal-oriented and able to advice and positively influence your internal client.
