Location Hybrid Oeiras, Lisbon

Contract Type Full-Time, Direct Contract with the Client

Our client is seeking a System Architect with expertise in OT to contribute to a transformative project in a leading pharmaceutical company. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, shaping cutting-edge solutions for manufacturing systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure architectures for manufacturing systems and OT environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance of complex manufacturing systems.
  • Monitor and optimize integration between IT and OT systems, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and align solutions with project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

  • Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years in system architecture roles with substantial experience in OT for manufacturing.
    • Proven expertise in designing and implementing IT/OT integrated solutions.
  • Technical Skills
    • Knowledge of operational technologies (SCADA, PLCs, MES).
    • Experience with cloud platforms and edge computing in manufacturing contexts.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in OT environments.
    • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulatory frameworks.
  • Languages Fluency in Portuguese and English (B2 level or higher).
