Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.



Your new role

This position contributes to the IT and business program management including planning and execution of the OneERP program, and other IT strategic, and tactical initiatives.

As a Senior Program Management Office Specialist, you will be responsible for Meetings and Project Office/Administration?. Where you will have to schedule and setting up meetings?; prepare meeting documents; distribute reports and meeting output to stakeholders; and update lessons learned and extract key reports?. The setup, initiation and planning? is also part of your roll. You will have to upload billing schedules and contracts; identify and capture, scope, objectives and deliverables; and extract draft project charters?. Update costs, tasks, benefits and team members hours/backfill costs?; obtain document approvals, sign-offs?; and update actions, risks and decisions? is also your responsibility. The chosen person, will have to create users and user groups?; register projects? and assist the IT Lead team. In addition, you will provide support to managers and project teams on all functional areas in the proper use of PM tools?; provide support and coaching to teams on the governance and the lifecycle; and provide support and assistance in regard to change requests and change control?. Finally, your role is to obtain milestone certificate sign-offs?; assist in formulating and maintaining the billing schedule?; and assist with contract schedules for contractors and ensuring signoff?.



What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a talented professional with five to eight years’ experience in a PMO role, in pharmaceutical or regulated industry and in a multinational organization. You will need to have a very strong understanding of the key delivery concepts like Data, Testing, security, release management and cutover; ?very good facilitation skills; and advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, Visio and MS Projects. You need to be an analytical, self-driven and innovative? person, with the capacity of problem-solving and the ability to map out processes. Additionally, we expect you to have good communication skills, both written and verbal and organizational and prioritising skills, so that you will be able to manage multiple activities and tasks simultaneously. Finally, negotiation skills coupled with interpersonal skills are required to ensure tasks and activities are delivered to plan.
