Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, which is integrally part of Ferring’s Global IT Function. and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will support on our journey

Your new role

• This person will actively contribute to the business area IT infrastructure demand management process.

• Responsible to conduct infrastructure project management from end to end, in time, scope and budget

• Establish standards and provide guidance for Demand/Project Management,

• Analyse and troubleshoot demand related issues/escalations in a timely and accurate manner

• Resolve potential issues/escalations with IT Supplier and business

• Coordinate/Manage technical Teams/ Demand Analysts/PM-s in Demand and Project associated activities

• Assist stakeholder and provide overall direction around the demand process

• Perform the day-to-day operations around demand and project management.

• Identify and drive service improvements within the demand process and project management activities

• Ensure project / change prioritization in alignment with IT Business Partner, project stakeholders and sponsor / Requester

• Build and maintain strong positive working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.

• Provide regular, meaningful and accurate reports to the project key stakeholders and management on demand and project management

• Ensure a high level of compliance with Ferring standards and internal regulations and guidelines are in the scope of projects in compliance and carried out.

• Ensure project work request/proposal are aligned with the outsourcing contract

• Check items / invoice vs service included in ITO contract

• Validated conformity of deliverables with customers

• Business stakeholder management at all levels

What you'll need to succeed 

• We are looking for a talented individual who has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• PM education and 5+ years relevant work experience as IT Project Manager, PMP certification will be a plus

• Knowledge on Agile methodology (Safe)

• Proven track record of successfully managed large projects, involving work planning, resource and capacity planning, risk management, scope and issue management within HQ environment

• Experience in industry regulations (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is an asset

• Knowledge on IT infrastructures technology, understanding of infrastructure & application solution architecture

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations

• Broad technical knowledge to allow a balanced view to be maintained

• Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strategic planning

• Experience in working with external service providers and in vendor management

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

• Able to work with people across different levels of the organization to build good working relations with internal customers

• Understanding their needs and building solutions meeting their requirements.
