Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team’s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring’s Global IT Function.

Your new role

In your role as a Senior Agile Coach, you will be supporting the Program teams, who maybe implementing Agile SAFe for the first time, meaning that as well as coaching, you will be defining how to adapt and adopt this new methodology and driving organizational change and new ways of working.

You will be responsible for training and developing colleagues on Agile principles, across all levels in the organisation including senior management, providing them with the methodologies and tools for implementing the process in their own work. You will mentor Agile Teams, providing employees with continuous feedback and means of improvement, catalysing organizational growth. It will be part of your responsibility to develop the Agile Adoption Strategy for the program at each and every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee training and education, through to fostering teams and cultures that practice and support Agile. This role is critical in embedding Agile into our organisation and supporting our teams to become adept at working successfully with the Agile approach.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a talented individual with around 10 years of experience in Agile in the Life Sciences Industry. Experience in SAFe methodology is a critical requirement, as well as SAP implementation. An Agile Coach must be influential and assertive on the adherence to Agile processes, and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits. You will excel in developing, training and coaching individuals and teams, and be comfortable operating across all levels in the organisation. First class inter-personal and communication skills are required, with a passion to inspire and engage people with new ways of working. A mind set of continuous improvement, with proven capabilities in change management are required for success in this role.
