Principais responsabilidades
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounting documents (GL, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset and Cash Management entries);
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results;
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status;
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending;
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers;
Provide input into department's goal setting process;
Prepare financial statements in accordance with local Accounting rules (SNC);
Assist with any tax audits and prepare all tax returns;
Assisiting internal and external audits to ensure compliance;
Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance;
Plan, assign and review staff's work;
Support month-end and year-end closing process;
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles, SNC and IFRS;
Liaise with Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.
Perfil desejado
Minimum 7 years of experience as an Accountant;
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and accounting GAAP - SNC and IFRS;
Strong working knowledge of tax laws;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
Strong organizational and stress management skills;
Ability to train and manage staff;
Accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to work with little to no supervision;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel (advanced user);
SAP (user);
English (medium or higher);
Certified Public Accountant is mandatory.
